The esteemed scholar, Judge Sidi Ahmed Skirj, may Allah have mercy on him, left behind three children: Abdul Karim, Mohamed, and Mariam, each of whom had a unique impact and distinguished life.
- Abdul Karim bin Ahmed Skirj: He was renowned for his pure heart, sincerity, and generosity. He was a cheerful and outspoken individual, characterized by dignity and respect. Born in Fes in 1322 AH, he grew up moving between Moroccan cities with his father, which granted him an excellent education in both Arabic and French, as well as an appreciation for art and calligraphy. He passed away in Casablanca in 1403 AH at the age of 81, leaving behind nine children.
- Mohamed bin Ahmed Skirj: The second son of the scholar, born in Tetouan in 1329 AH, he was raised by his grandfather, Zubair Skirj. He memorized the Qur’an and excelled in linguistic sciences. He later enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine in Granada but returned to practice medicine in Tetouan. He authored medical works, including The Child and Diabetes. He passed away in 1421 AH, leaving behind two sons.
- Mariam bint Ahmed Skirj: The only daughter and youngest of the scholar’s children, she was born in El Jadida in 1346 AH. She married Mohamed Al-Kabir Al-Klaoui and lived in Rabat until her death in 1436 AH. She was known for her piety and noble character, serving as an example of a humble, generous woman deeply committed to Islamic teachings. She left behind five children.
These three children of the esteemed scholar continued to carry their father’s legacy, immortalizing his values and traditions in the fields of science, literature, and social life.
